Kindergarten – Age 14 (Divided into age groups) KIDS SCENE DRAMA THEATRE AGES School years K-2 Holidays are a fun time to develop your self confidence in self expression. Drama Scene Kids create their own theatre with new friends, daily themes, arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor games and skill developing activities that inspire imaginations. HOLIDAY SCENE PLAYERS Ignite your creativity and imagination. Build new skills and share fun experiences with new friends. School holidays are a time to have fun and to make the most of the time. Come away saying this was better than staying away. HOLIDAY SENIORS Holidays are a fun time to develop your self confidence in self expression. Holiday Scene Players are usually creative people who love active school holidays. Choose how many days you would like to play! ------------------------------ PADDINGTON Holiday Scene Location: Glenmore Road Public School 10 – 13 April HOLIDAY SENIORS PLAYWRITING DUOLOGUES FOR PERFORMANCE Ages 11-14 Choose the week or choose a day, new creating in many ways.
Whether you consider yourself an Actor, Director, Writer, all round Performer or someone who is looking for a challenge or just some fun to fill the school holidays, these workshop days will be for you as there are many roles to fill. Work together performing and writing a variety of character driven duologues (2 person scenes) and discover how to create an original play.
HOLIDAY SCENE PLAYERS LEARN TO AUDITION Ages 8,9,10 New drama every day, choose how many days you wish to play. This is the week to study a rang of acting styles and experience different forms of auditioning including film casting calls, commercial crazy requests and hitting your mark, monologues and sight reading for theatre, musical theatre and modeling. Work with a Professional Stunt Actor to learn non-contact film combat and fight sequence techniques & choreography and spend time with a Professional Actor and Film Director as you practise acting on camera, benefit from seeing yourself on screen and get behind the camera too. Learn Film & TV terminology, understand the shots, decipher scripts and Storyboard your ideas. Present yourself in the best way by having fun on our ‘red carpet’ with Modeling Coach. An action packed week, come along every day or choose how many days to play.

JOURNEY TO A NEW LAND EVERY DAY Tuesday – Smurf Land Play some drama games to find your special name and the unique Smurf character inside of you. Help us to design our town and you can even have your face painted blue. Wednesday – Movie Land Travel to La La land learn to audition for the movies, see yourself onscreen, learn to take and give directions and operate the cameras and microphone equipment too. Finish the day with costumes and a walk down the red carpet. Thursday – Star Land Use your art and craft skills to make a space ship big enough to jump into and fly off to star wars land, you may like to put on a princess costume like Princess Leia or make a prop light saber for Han Solo to use in drama games and competitions such as “Slow Motion Registration” and “Are You An Alien?” Friday – Portal Land Can you find the portal hidden on the stage? Travel through the portal and discover some wonderful lands while building your stagecraft, acting and teamwork skills.

- Glenmore Road Public School Hall grounds PROVIDED: All materials. Fruit platter served for After Care snack 4:40pm. REQUIRED: Drink, snack, lunch, hat & wear comfortable play clothes. TIME: Before Care - 8:00am to 9:30am Workshops

After Care - 4:00pm to 6:00pm
FEES: 5 DAYS - $45 per day +gst = $247.50 FEES: 4 DAYS - $45 per day +gst = $198.00 FEES: 3 DAYS - $55 per day +gst = $181.50 FEES: 2 DAYS - $55 per day +gst = $121.00 FEES: 1 DAYS - $55 per day +gst = $ 60.50 Before Drama Play Time - $5.00 inc GST (paid on day or on invoice) After Drama Play Time - $5.00 inc GST (paid on day or on invoice) (We do not use the terms “BEFORE & AFTER CARE” as our Kindergarten aged players have sometimes confused this with what happens at school and think they are not staying back past 4pm or that it is at a different location and this can be confusing for them at the end of the drama day.)
