Players are young people in SCHOOL YEARS 5, 6, 7, 8 demonstrating an enthusiastic and creative personality,
 a wide interest in the performing arts,
a high level of literacy and self discipline
and of course,
a very keen attitude towards drama.

Play  Write  Explore  Perform  Direct

This year’s Theme is “TIME” and we will be  exploring  a range of group devised theatre and original, personal, performance pieces and collage theatre.  It is also time to  encourage Players to write and direct performances, perhaps even singing and dancing for some and they will be working with guest Coaches.  Of course it is also a time in the Drama Scene calendar when there is time to play lots of drama games that we don’t have an opportunity to play in Drama Groups with shorter sessions, particularly loud, fast action games, building skills & taking risks in long form improvisation & the rehearsal room.

PERFORMANCE

Our aim is to do an end of year performance for invited Industry guests & our family & friends & to donate the proceeds to a Charity nominated by the group.

 Where: In Paddington on the stage at Glenmore Road P.S. – enter & sign in via Stage Door

 When: Final Sunday of every month, April – November.

 Time: 12:30pm – 3:00pm (Earlier start November performance – time TBC).

 Fees: FEE FREE scholarships for 85% of Players in 2010.
