FRIDAY PADDINGTON SCENE

School Hall & Library within   –  Glenmore Road Public School   Cambridge Street

* KINDERGARTEN Group,  3:00pm3:30pm Fees: $40.00 (This is a shorter Drama Term, to introduce the children to drama and starting after they have settled into the school day routine.)

TERM 1 starts 26 February - Ends 26 March

TOPIC: Welcome to Drama Scene
This term will introduce everyone to the Drama Scene program – every session begins with joining in “Our Drama Circle”, a game that encourages both teamwork and everyone to increase confidence in their self expression and taking a turn to create sound and movement.  We will also work on getting used to what voices can do in drama and learning to think quickly and work independently, valuable tools for school.  All of these efforts are achieved through drama games and activities that simply seem like a lot of fun.  Specifically we will be working from exploring the life of a Puppy in a garden who’s Owner is away at School and presenting a “Paddington Pooch Olympics” in which Puppies work to earn a certificate for their Partner.  This term may be the shortest of this year, but there will even be time for a taste of costumes and to learn our most popular drama game!

* Glenmore Road P.S. Kindergarten Players are met at their classrooms at 3:00pm by the Drama Coach.  Dismissal is from outside the school hall or children are escorted to The Cottage.  Players receive a sticker as they leave so that the Coach is certain they have departed with an appropriate adult.    Go to ENROLMENT PAGE
