term will introduce everyone to the Drama Scene program – every session
begins with joining in “Our Drama Circle”, a game that encourages both
teamwork and everyone to increase confidence in their self expression and
taking a turn to create sound and movement. We will also work on getting used to what voices can do in drama and
learning to think quickly and work independently, valuable tools for
school.All of these efforts are
achieved through drama games and activities that simply seem like a lot of
fun.Specifically we will be working
from exploring the life of a Puppy in a garden who’s Owner is away at School
and presenting a “Petersham Pooch Olympics” in which Puppies work to earn a
certificate for their Partner.There
will even be time this term for a taste of costumes and to learn our most
popular Drama Scene game!
