2025 SUBMISSIONS CLOSED
Cast Callout!
We are looking for a new, dynamic cast of 15 young people who are keen to extend their theatre-making and acting skills and will dedicate 15 Sunday afternoons to become this year’s Drama Scene Players bringing a scripted Play to the stage.
Don’t Miss Out – Expression Of Interest closes 3 March 2025
Why Be A Drama Scene Player?
Make friends outside of school who love Drama as much as you! Play drama games, improvise & devise, bring words off a page and scenes to the stage, explore character and extend your acting skills, all together over some Sunday afternoons between March and September, as a Drama Scene Player the only thing better than the fun along the way is the achievement when you perform your Play.

Are you in Year 5,6,7,8? Would you like to be in a Play?
When you find out everyone around you thinks differently to you, what do you do? Do you push through? Hide from the mocking of your peers or face the adversity and challenge their view? Isn’t Drama about learning to be a tree? What if being a tree was what you wanted to be?
In this Play published in 2018, step into the shoes of a group of 11-13 year olds discovering their technology, environment, classmates and aspirations.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
In 2025, we are again gathering a cast of young people from Sydney who would like to take their Drama further by experiencing producing and performing a Play for an invited audience.
